Privacy Statement

Courageous Survival is committed to protecting the privacy and accuracy of confidential information, to the extent possible, and to providing its users with good privacy practices regarding electronic personal information. We operate computer systems that are developed by our technical group. We also partner with external organizations for our website hosting, video hosting, and resource referral services. Information collected by our in-house systems is used solely to provide and tailor services to our customers. Information may also be used to construct aggregate reports that assist us in program planning.  Any information shared with third parties is only shared in aggregate form and does not contain user specific information. Other than as required by laws that guarantee public access to certain types of information, or in response to subpoenas or other legal instruments that authorize access, personally-identifiable information is not actively shared. In particular, we do not re-distribute or sell personal information collected on our web servers.

Data Collection

Data collected by the Courageous Survival website for in-house systems are stored in a secure SQL server at the website hosting level. These systems may use "cookies" and some may collect system information such as IP address and browser versions. Collection and access to our user information is governed by the relevant state and federal laws defining such collection in effect at the time of collection. The Courageous Survival Website utilizes an encrypted hypertext transport protocol (HTTPS). But no information shared to the Courageous Survival website should be considered truly secure.

Analytics

Our website may also use a third-party analytics provider (Google Analytics) to help us understand how visitors use our site. We use this information to improve our content and your experience visiting our site. Google Analytics relies on cookies to produce this information. Google Analytics does not receive personally identifiable information through these cookies and is prohibited from combining, matching or cross-referencing information from our site with any other information. We have also opted not to have Google Analytics storability to see your full IP address (a feature known as “IP masking”).
